Programs Disappearing

For many passionate young musicians in our communities, access to free or affordable music programs is not a reality. Action for the Arts (AFTA) meets this challenge by offering funding to strengthen high-quality music programs in under-resourced communities.

Supported programs have the unique opportunity to showcase their talents in front of family and friends on legendary House of Blues stages in select cities. Every Spring, schools and community organizations serving diverse populations of  young people in grades 5 through 12 are encouraged to apply for AFTA funding.

Check back here in April 2016 for the 2016-2017 AFTA request for proposal announcement.
